dual monitor setup
So I plan on gettin another 19" monitor, bringing the total to two. I understand my video card must support this, but am not sure what video card I have or how to go about finding out. Can anyone provide help / advice on this whole process?
1) how to find out what video card I have 2) how to figure out if it supports dual monitors 3) are all monitors capable of being doubled up or do I need to look into this too? |

Re: dual monitor setup
You can look into device manager to see what your card is. You can check if your card has a second slot for a second monitor or a tv out slot or something the like, if you do have the latter you will need an adapter which is pretty cheap and can be buy every computer store.
If you dont have any of the 2 you're gonna have to buy a second card or upgrade to a new card with a second slot. |

It does have s-video out so it technically does, but you don't wanna use that. I'm getting a 204 delivered today, I'm gonna have to buy an agp card from my friend that has dvi out. When I get another one I'm just gonna grab the cheapest pci card off newegg I can find with dvi out. They're under $40 shipped. |
