Well, when Mike walked into KGBs place, KGB asked him if he wanted $500. And from Knish's talk about him going to play the 10/20 in Chesterfield and then the other games Mike and Worm played, I'd have to guess that Mike's usual games were 10/20, 20/40, Limit, or with a rack of $500 maybe $2/$5 NL. So, the only mistake Mike made in the hand was putting his entire $30,000 bankroll at stake. Moron deserved to go broke.

If I were Matt Damon, I would certainly shut my mouth on the river, instead of saying "I don't believe you have a flush". It's an excellent way to get the guy with the flush to fold.

Even in the last hand he talking on the flop ("I'll regret it if I don't call you" or something )and acting weak on the river. Pretty obvious tells.

i love it how people take this film seriously to the point they analyse the hands and use it for instructional purposes.

its a film ffs, they do what the directors think will look best on screen.

[/ QUOTE ]

Woah woah are you trying to suggest that they were more concerned with making an entertaining film than making the hands as realistic and well played as possible?

Get the [censored] out of here

Haven't seen the movie in years but if I recall correctly he had pocket tens for top set. I don't know why I know this.

I heard that if you play it back frame by frame you can see one of his cards is a ten when he mucks them.
