Villain seems quite aggro, this board is likely to have missed you with overcards, so he could be raising your c-bet with air / draw, TP, overpair etc. His flop raise is almost a min raise. This doesn't indicate too much strenght imo. Flop is drawy so I might 3bet it to ~11.
Turn is quite close imo. He could still be betting TP/overpair but the scare card should stop him with weaker hands and many draws hit now. I'd guess we can let this go.

Btw.: Whats your plan for a blank turn?

I would lead the turn for about $7.50 and raise 4BB preflop.

On a side note, I see quite a few ppl on FT raising 4BB preflop, what is the reasoning for this vs pot-sized raise?

Depending on turn card and bet size I was going to eval. Since this card is almost the worst to see for drawing hands AND he bet large (~80% of pot), I feel like he is protecting a made hand vs a naked A or K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I tossed it at this point.

i think you played it alright. i mean, your actions are consistant. i assume that on the flop, you're figuring a large part of his range to be draws, so you go to the turn, with the intention of trying to get the rest of your money in on a brick, when your equity is much higher. well, 2 draws hit on the turn, and you shut down. that seems fine to me. if you hadn't intended to stick with that plan, you might have just as well tried to get your money in on the flop.
