Default I just wana Know....

for all you christians out there...... why did it take god 6 days to create everything and why on the 7th day did he rest i mean this is god god doesnt need to rest hes god for crying out loud and why would it take so long instead of within the snap of a finger?? just curious to see your thoughts

I always thought it was to set the example for us, you know, we rest on the sabbath and all that.

The Bible has been translated numerous times. According to the original text it wasn't six days but 6.28… days. It was fine for awhile with one day of rest, but the two-day weekend has caused some problems.
