QJ in CO v. Serial 3bettor/Floater
I'm running at 28/22, Taggish villain has picked up on this and has been 3betting me and floating me liberally. I haven't really played back as of yet.
Thoughts on my line? Ultimate Bet No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1./$2. 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero (CO) raises to $7, Villain (BTN) calls, 2 folds. Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($17, 2 players) Hero bets $12, villain calls. Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($41, 2 players) Hero checks, Villain bets $25, Hero raises to $80 |

I like it...he most likely doesn't have a set or a combo draw and he will fold out most one pair hands. You have to do this against habitual floaters once in awhile.

Re: QJ in CO v. Serial 3bettor/Floater
Why are you cbetting a habitual floater on this board?

Re: QJ in CO v. Serial 3bettor/Floater
Ill explain my thinking process in terms of wht villain should be thinking. Its basically this guy isnt going to risk a free card on that drawy of a board against me. Id think i wouldrepush any pair there almost. It looks too like a weak attempt bc hes fed up with me floating. I would just double barrell and fire a third on most rivers. Ssnl needs to work on not taking obv bluffing lines and just play more of their range in a more optimal line as if they did have a monster.
Im a little tired so i dont know uf im explaining this well at all. |

not sure what you're trying to represent here. [/ QUOTE ] I take this line against floaters with lots of stuff that I'm willing to stack off with as well as semibluffs. |

Re: QJ in CO v. Serial 3bettor/Floater
I usually see op line as a semi bluff most of the time then bluff then hand going for value
