Re: $225: A2 bubble
According to SNGWiz, if he's opening 35%+, this is a fold. They suggest pushing 15%+ (44, A8+, A5s+, KQ, KTs+).
After tweaking the ranges, I can only get a push if the Villain is opening any two cards and the BB is calling 15%+. |

Re: $225: A2 bubble
Some reads on BB would be cool. Your read on button is largely irrelevant. Unless BB is incredibly passive and tight, he should be calling here with just about anything. If button loses great, if button wins, I'll take my chances shoving almost ATC the next hand. If button seems really eager to cooperate I guess I would just call.

Re: $225: A2 bubble
I call if I think BB will call and will play nice and check down (after t200 goes in on flop). But, you are putting half of your stack in here, and if BB doesn't play nice then you are in a bad spot.
Anyone think button has a real big hand here, mainly because he left 200 back? He wants a chance to triple up hoping SB and BB come along. |

Re: $225: A2 bubble
No button's just protecting himself in case SB and BB wind up all in. He can fold and pray BB busts SB - as BB will usually have a pretty big hand in that spot. I really need to remember to do that more often. Or ever I mean.

Re: $225: A2 bubble
Hmm if that magic scenario occurs and bb and sb go allin he would have to call 200 to win 4000 pot. What sort of hand can fold such odds profitably??? I Really don't get excitement about this move at all.

Re: $225: A2 bubble
I like a flat call. I don't think shutting out the BB with a minreraise is necessarily a good thing. Very few BB will bet into dry side pots without a piece on the flop. Also, flat calling might induce a BB shove with a bad hand which given stack sizes would be great.

Re: $225: A2 bubble
I like a call, especially if BB is passive. I don't like pushing or minraising because you don't crush his range and one more player would be helpful.
