What level has your band gotten to

just messing around in the garage?
play a couple gigs?
make a demo?
tour?

Im working on putting out a demo with my band now and curious what levels of success others have achieved

also, my drummer for religious reasons cant play on friday nights/saturdays, hes jewish, do people think this is a huge issue?

let me correct myself, he is a religious jew, he keeps the sabbath

you have never seen a religious jew in concert on friday night or saturday before sundown

my band in college opened for The Toasters, that was fun. we stated that we were going to play a Toasters song (they were all hanging out and pretending to listen to us / watching slutty drunk girls dance) and then just played a random song we wrote. they were like, wtf song was that.

we played some gigs, made a cd. we were the best band ever.. yeah..

also i once played this college show in front of a lawn full of kids with this other band, but that wasn't really my style of music

Not if you keep posting stupid questions like in the OP. Of course it will hurt the band's long-term success if one of the members is unable to make gigs on the two biggest nights of the week.

it was basic rock music, not great though, guitarist was kind of weak in some areas and his vocals were bad. the college show was kind of a folky band and we did a few covers

i can't remove the * as i have no idea who gave it and for what
