FTP has pretty easy HU cash games from what I've heard, but I imagine Stars HU would be even easier.

[/ QUOTE ]
WOW... i dont think any site is easier than the other really. there are terrible players& really good players on BOTH sites. i think its just being uniformed to say that one site is "eaiser" than the other.

this doesnt make any sense

[/ QUOTE ]

what

[/ QUOTE ]

what's so hard to understand? you made a completely unsubstantiated statement and expect it to be taken as truth. why would stars HU games be easier than FTP games, which you apprarently have not played either?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because stars is an easier site. If people can be playing HU cash on Fulltilt with 27% rakeback, and they are still hoping Stars opens HU cash games again, then obviously the games would be substantially easier.

[/ QUOTE ]

wtf. how can you say that stars is an 'easier' site? what does that even mean? you are good at backing up unsubstantiated comments with more of the same.

how exactly are you defining easier?
is it avg vpip? i could show you datamined samples over a 3month period where ftp 3/6 and 5/10nl 6max is looser on average than the same games on stars.

please dont come in here talking about that which you nothing.

[/ QUOTE ]

As I said, I was just speculating based on people's behavior. I guess that I'm wrong in assuming Stars is easier. But come on, you can see where I'm coming from, right? If a Heads Up cash game player has the option of playing on a site with 27% rakeback, then why would a thread be made about trying to get another site with no rakeback (with the exception of FPP's) to open up HU cash game tables? My answer was because Stars must be easy enough to compensate for not having rakeback. It's just a speculation, I'm sorry if it came off as a declaration, because I don't claim to know much of anything on the subject from personal experience.

The average losing online poker player does not care about rakeback as much as they care about FPP's where they can buy cool things.

I'm pretty sure the Stars $1500 supernova bonus comes out to around 27% rakeback for 6max and over 30% for full ring. Add in the weekly $20K and $50K VIP freerolls, if you feel like grinding a few tourneys on Saturday afternoons, and it could be much higher. The Platinum $650 bonus is around 16-20% rakeback depending on what you play so that's not too bad either. Actually it's great if you don't have rakeback at FTP. It remains to be seen how those numbers would come out for heads up games though.

As far as Stars vs FTP player quality, they're pretty much the same but I prefer the Stars software and like the VIP program better. That and I lose sound on FTP after 30 minutes so that's super annoying. The one great thing about FTP is the ability to datamine, especially when playing heads up. That 'advantage' would be sorely missed at Stars.

I have emailed them a few more times, as i determined to follow through with this to the end. i give credit to the poker stars support for keeping its cool, asi have emailed them NUMEROUS times. here is the latest response.

Hello Daniel,

Thank you for your response.

Please be assured that I have forwarded your email to the ideas box.
Besides what I have told you previously, there is not much I can add. I understand how you feel. Whilst I do not play heads up ring games myself I understand that there is a demand for them. Aside from forwarding your email to our ideas box I will also personally speak with my manager about this issue.

I'm sorry that we've disappointed you. If there is anything else we can help you with please don't hesitate to ask.

Regards,

On a related note, it took Stars years to add 6mPLO citing all sorts of reasons, but, eventually they did add 6mPLO.

PS Yes I've already emailed stars multiple time WRT HU Cash

I replied to a question I asked earlier about WCOOP HU sats. They will be running soon FYI.

Thank you for the quick reply, I appreciate it.

I have a suggestion I would like for you to forward for the specific department/person that it relates to.

As a longtime PokerStars player I would really be happy if Heads Up Cash tables were added to the site. Myself, as well as numerous Heads Up players I talk with would be very active in these games and increase our playing time at these tables. Other sites obviously have these tables, and I understand there are certain drawbacks to having them, but at the same time I think it is either unclear or there is an underestimate in the amount of extra rake/gameplay this would generate.

Thank you,

Ryan

P.S. One of the new guys must've turned it off, but could you please turn my luckbox back on, I believe it has been off for the last few weeks.

Thanks again.
