second time at a casino TR: big hands, then a 5bi+ pot, and scamament

alight, so since school start this week and it is one of my friend's birthday, some friends (not from school) and i decide to go to an 18+ indian casino, Morongo. they have been there more often than i have, this was my second time. i bring my neteller money that i cashed out, $1500. holiday weekend and all the games running and some random [censored] like 5 card omaha and limit holdem kill. when i get there i dont have any interest in other gambling and head straight for poker room. get on 2/5 should be good, the poker room is kinda small and is mostly a 1/3 $100 cap buyin game, with like 2-3 2/5 uncapped games list which is like 6 people long, luckily like 2 minutes later a seat opens and no one in front of me on list is there to get called so i get a seat. i buy for a cool $500 brad booth style and wait to play. this dealers can be kinda crappy here but generally are good, the rake is stupid, i dont know if this is standard live but they rake $2 a hand regardless, even if it is folded to bb, and $2 more if it sees a flop. the first hand i play i get K9s in MP, raise, flop top pair, turn 2 pair, win a $200 pot, not a bad way to start. im running decently and get up to about $800 stack.

i get aces in late position, there are two limpers, there is a limper, maybe two, and i raise to $20. SB calls, limpers call. flop KJx, it checks around, i bet out 60, sb raises to 150, he is kinda tight and seems decent, says he plays 1/2 online. at this point i should know for a fact i am beat, but i am a dumbass and call the raise, i know im behind but wont fold. turn is like a 3, he bets out 100 into a ~$400, i call, river he bets out 100 on another rag, he has jack, i knew i had to fold but didnt, my one big lapse in judgment all night.

so, at this point i am now down $100, i rebuy that much so i have a $500 stack again, which then varies between $500 and $600 for a bit. now there is a limper in the pot, im on button and limp 85dd cause at this point im just seeing flops with any cards that could connect, as seems to be the strategy for live. flop is 6d4d2x, double gutter and a flush draw. the BB checked preflop and now bets 15 which is pot. the limper raises to 60, i cold call knowing i will easily get paid off by both these people if i hit in position. turn blank BB bets 100, next guy calls, i decide to call too. at this point i know i have a lot of outs, but i am SCREAMING "7 OF DIAMONDS" over and over in my head. lo and behold, the river is that beautful 7 of diamonds, giving me a straight flush. BB bets out 150, the limper who seems decent at hand reading folds, i wait a bit and push, i cover the guy by a little bit and he calls, flips ATdd, ship it. now i have about 1100 stack, the guy who folded said he had 2 pair.

i win a few pots and run my stack up the 1400, my last time i was here i was down 500, now im up 800, good feeling. now guy in MP open raises to 30 preflop, obviously a strong hand from him, young really aggressive, possibly tilted asian guy calls, i get JTcc on button and call. flop is J8Xcc, im a bit hazy on the flop action but the best of my recollection the raiser bets 40, asian guy raises to 100, i call pretty sure raiser has an over pair or a very unlikely jacks, and asian guy could have a few things. turn is a 9x, this gives me a pair, a flush draw, and an open ended straight. original raiser checks, asian guy bets 150, i call, raiser calls. river is 5c i make my flush. at this point i know the raiser is behind me, and the asian guy, unless he had QJcc-AJcc couldnt have a better flush, since i had the Jc i knew he didnt have overs to a flush, just from the way he played i was 100% sure without a doubt in my mind about this. original raiser checks, asian guy bets out $500 in cash, i insta shove for his like ~250, raiser obv folds and asian guy calls, shows 43cc, ship the biggest pot of my life by far. im not sure my numbers all add up there but the pot was 2600-2800. guy who folded said he folded KK, which is most likely true. the part of this i was most happy about was that i didnt have to think at all, i just knew for a fact i had him beat on the river.

its about 7:30pm at this point, but flash back to about 4pm, the guy to my left and i are talking, he is a cool guy, and we are watching this waitress who we know is about to tip her tray over which she is holding behind her and is filled with water, who of course ends up spilling it all on some guy. we felt bad but both saw it comming. at around 7:45, the guy who i was talking with kept getting up and sitting back down at table, kinda weird but w/e. apparently it was his brother who either backed his chair out or whatever that made the waitress tip the tray, obviously an accident 100%. i look behind me at the front desk of the poker room, where the guy sitting to my left, his brother and their friends and the guy who got spilled on all arguing, with the casino security guys all standing there too. we dont really know what is going on, but guy that was to my left comes back to the table and says that the guy who got spilled on is holding his brother liable for what happened because, and this is exactly what the guy said, that he had a $7000 cellphone that no longer works due to the spill. this may be the dumbest scam ever, i mean pick a believable number, $300, $500, whatever, but come on. sure enough they are still arguing outside the poker room now, i felt bad cause the guy next to me was cool. he just said he and his friends were leaving cause this was so ridiculous, and rightly so. at around 8:15 my friends are busto and decide they want to leave, so we head out, me being +$2100 by the end.

i play aces badly, but redeem myself by pwning two large pots, one with a straight flush v nut flush, one where i make an insta shove over a big bet with the 4th nuts in a 500+bb pot and win.

first of all, it wasnt my biggest pot, second, it wasnt a 4 outer, i had 7 outs, double gutter
