Default PP Super MTT curse???

I'm midway through a PP Super with an average stack and an M of 30.
I raise 3xbb from early position with QQ.
A late position re-raises all-in with an M of 15.
I take it as a desperation move with an average hand and call???
I get cracked with A,9s or A,6o or K,Js.
I list several hands for villian because this has happened to me about 7 times in the last 2 weeks.
At first I just wrote it off to a bad run, but now am wondering if I am missing something???
Help?

Are you from Chicago or Boston?

Boston won, Chicago still loses. There is hope!

Seriously though, you aren't making the wrong plays, you just aren't on the + side of the luck factor.

The other night I was playing in a 30pts freeroll on Bodog. 830 started, Top 18 get paid. I was doing awesome. I was seriously playing the best poker of my life. I get dealt AA. I raise preflop and get 2 callers. Flop comes 234. Check, Check, I bet, 1 caller. Turn is a King. Bigger stack pushes. I call, he turns over KQ. River is a spade and he completes a flush, and I'm out in 76th place. I was so mad because all of that perfect poker was down the tubes in one card when I was by the far the best hand on the turn. I was on the wrong side of the luck factor. If I would have won that hand, I would have had 38k in chips and I would have been towards the top. I think the Chipleader had about 50k in chips and everyone was REALLY BAD! I would have been in great position to cash, but not this time. Just keep playing and the cards will even out eventually.

calmjackal: if you don't realize that this is just variance biting you in the ass, you should really stop playing the stupers. Seriously.

This happened to me for about a week, I lost AK Vs. AJ, AA, VS QQ. QQ Vs. AQ. List goes on, but as long as you get it in with the best hand in the end you'll be a winner. that's what i keep telling myself...
