Villain looks pretty good from his stats. He probably is looking to 3-bet here. It's hard to fold for this small bet but I can't see him doing this with anything you beat.

I think he has a lot of hands you beat here. He could have two overs, or 88, 66, 55, 44. I think it's well-known that the first person to bet at a paired board takes down the pot most of the time. I'd call that board with 55 or 66. I'd all his turn bet. And play poker on the river. JK.

I'd call a lot of river cards. You can't really know which ones will hit him and give him a bigger pair. If he bets half the pot or more, call. If he bets less, stick in a raise. He'll probably fold any missed overs, but call with a lot of pairs you beat.

Also, I like to look at villain's stats at showdown a lot in making my decisions on how often I think I'm ahead. Do they go to showdown a lot or is their % low? The lower it is, the more likely they are to be really aggressive, or just looking to attack weakness. Do they go to showdown a lot, but have a low win %? Those are two good candidates to raise a less than half pot sized bet on the river.

I call and call most rivers. I think he likely has 55/66 and isn't playing it so great....maybe even has 2 unpaired cards or like A8 or something. Big hands don't play like this much IMO...however, there is no reason to raise...you want a showdown.
