I mean if you are starting out, I guess he is good at you b/c he will exploit your weakness.

But later on, youll see that his special moves are not as good as balbasaure's. I'd go w/ Arkanine/Moltress for fire.

[/ QUOTE ]fire in general is pointless. its weak against too many common types (water, ground, etc) and only hurts things like plant and bug. just get a dugtrio.. rock/ground attacks will take care of anything fire was supposed to.

personally, i'm amazed at what i remember from 7 years ago. it was a fun game though.
