Give it up after villain calls the flop. In the absence of reads, I'd say villain can beat you with almost any hand he's raising, except QTs or JTs. You're done son.

Check and fold the flop. With that many players at that level someone will have Ax or Kx. Pot too small for the gutshot straight draw.

A flop fold would be bad. Hero has a gutshot. OOP i check/call against a big field. With position i like a flop bet and a turn check.

Hm I'm a bit worried after getting two callers on the flop. If you're lucky, one holds a ten and the other a gutshot ... but imo you aren't lucky often. I guess you're drawing to 6 outs most of the time. I like c/c the turn.
The way you played it:yep, fold the river

Please try to limit your number of posts on the front page to two at a time.

I check-call on the flop with this many opponents OOP. Folding the flop is too weak, but neither is your hand strong enough to make a continuation bet.

I'm more likely than usual to count the Q's as outs since this is .02/.04 and people might well have total rags.

On the flop hero is up against 3 other players, atleast one of them has top or second pair. Hero can't improve to a set, as that would give anyone with a J the straight. Hero's only outs are the four jacks... It's break even to call down if we are getting 11.75 to 1 odds.

I realize this stance is completely anchored in the assumption that someone has an Ace or King. There is only a 46% chance that 6 random cards would contain neither an A or a K, and that percentage is greatly reduced because these particular opponents called a PF raise from UTG.

I realize this affects our image, but thats no good reason to chase an inside straight draw.

Cardgeek,

With implied odds even with four outs you can call the flop no problem. If we spike a Q on the turn we have a huge re draw vs anyone with a jack.

If villains are passive flop bet is ok, but at least check turn. as played we are getting 8.5:1 on the turn with 6 possible outs. I think this is a fold.
