Default 50nl: AK, top pair in rr pot facing heat

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($49.25)
CO ($82.50)
Button ($60.05)
SB ($97.35)
BB ($76.65)
Hero ($64.65)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $1.75, 4 folds, BB raises to $5.5, Hero calls $3.75.

Flop: ($11.25) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $7, Hero calls $7.

Turn: ($25.25) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $18, Hero folds.

BB seemed like a decent player, running at 32/24/5.5 through 50 hands. He had openraised from his SB into my BB each time it was folded to him and I had been playing pretty passively against him.

I am sort of conflicted here. This is an ideal flop for us but I am troubled by villain's turn bet. I think its more than likely that villain is playing an aggressive AK. But AA/KK are possible too. Also that he repopped your EP raise suggests significant strength.

If you are going to fold... I think the turn is the best place but I am inclinced to call down.

I turn into a calling station vs LAGs. I think his range is much wider than AA,KK,AK.

If I felt like the Villain had been incredibly aggressive(as in a wide pre-flop 3-betting range) and I'd been letting him run me over ,I'd probably either raise the flop and then let it go if he continued to push or call it down (unless a Q or 10 hit the river. Then I'd hesitate a bit)

If his 3-betting range is more of a typical 3-betting range (AK-AQ-QK-99-AA) and he plans to continue his aggression I'd probably raise the flop and then depending on how I'd seen of his play previously fold or call-down from there.

What hands is he firing the second barrel with that he reraises preflop? I doubt he's betting the turn with TT,QQ,AQ,AJ. The only hand that I can see him playing this way that I beat is KQ and maybe QQ if he thinks I will fold the turn. His earlier aggression may sway me to call him down, but I am likely behind a good percent of the time.

nh. If you had opened from CO or BTN, I'd probably call down.
