Poker-Edge
Quick Questions:
Is Poker-Edge any good? Are you legally able to use it? Have any sites banned its use? Are there any problems about it? I ask because I saw it on YouTube and it looks quite good. Thanks in advance.

For what it does, yes. It's great for table-selection. Beyond that, the effectiveness stat-reads is open for debate. >>Are you legally able to use it? The reason it's banned while software like PT and PAHud are not, is that PE pools hand histories from a massive data-mining operation and makes them available to all players via the PE software. Most sites view this as collusion/cheating. I don't disagree. >>Are there any problems about it? The Poker Edge people are incredibly sketchy. They've been violating the T&C of many poker sites without communicating the risks of using Poker Edge to their users.** I don't think I'd give them my money even if most sites allowed the use of PE. There's also an "extortion" aspect to their operation. They won't display your stats to PE users as long as you're a paying customer. **This was the case in the beginning, at least, when Party started warning players about using banned software. I don't know what they're doing now, because I haven't been to the PE site in years.
