Default Weird sleeping

OK. so my friend sometimes wakes up in the morning but only because of hunger pangs. so he has a good breakfast think 50g of C, 40g of P, 20g of F, drinks water, takes a flax seed pill and multivitamin. Then he goes back to sleep for another 2 hours or so. I've never met anyone else who does this as much as him, he will do it like 3-4 times a week. Anybody have any ideas on this, whether it's good/bad? Is there any research on this breakfast/sleep combo?
