If you fold or call here has not any affect on metagame since no one thinks you folded AQ, theyll put you on KQ or QQ QJ or anything like that

yeah it's a river fold. i make this one usually. some other ones like the recent JJ on KTxxK board facing a river checkraise i don't make, but this one i do most of the time, especially when button calls the river (meaning i get to know if i'm right).

Amazing how much easier it becomes to fold when this happens...

When a tag bets that river into two ppl, it's adios top pair for me. What hand are you ahead of at this point?

I agree. Pretty easy river fold IMO.

if he can raise the turn with A5o/A6o he can likely fire one more river bet even if he doesn't improve to two pair next time. the only hands he should have on the turn are two pair, a set, a made flush or QT for the straight. with ATo and above he probably 3bangs preflop so those are discounted and even if he does have Ax i think the line that's probably going to net him the most when i personally bet that turn is to just call down. i swore a little in the chat box when he showed A5o for the rivered 3 outer, button mucked Q9o no spade.
