What is Travis Henry's status? Right now I have Selvin Young on my team just taking up a roster spot. I'd drop him but he seems like he'd be valuable if Henry does indeed get suspended.

Also, what do people think of Justin Fargas? He had a great week before the bye and Jordan is supposed to be hurting. Is he worth keeping around for depth/potential trade bait?

I owned both at one point, and just said "to hell with it" and dropped Fargas. As is he's still on waivers. Jordan-Rhodes is the 1-2 punch, and then fargas will get a sniff after.

I think you have to wait one more week on this Henry thing. I don't know where the case is at, but I know it's not finished yet and the upside here is too great to pass on.

I'm pretty much looking forward to the future, and while Bulger and Jackson are bruised and banged up now, I think gambling on them for later on is my best choice. I really don't see any way I win this week as it is.

[/ QUOTE ]

I guess that's an okay plan then. Bulger/Jackson should be a significant upgrade from Huard/T. Jones (normally I don't like owning the QB/RB combo for a team, but SJax catches a lot of passes). And you haven't risked too much if it turns out they don't come back healthy (I'd also worry a little bit about the Rams being in surrender mode, but who knows).

I don't really plan on having both Bulger and Jackson. I'd like to think if they both end up doing real well, or even if one comes back to do well, I'd be able to use them as trade bait.

I give Steve Smith, L. Maroney, and Garrard for Peyton Manning.

My above trade seems really clearly good for me, but a couple different people I've talked to don't think so. I think they're nuts, trying to get some feedback to see if there are reasons this is bad that make sense.

[/ QUOTE ]

Depends who your old QB was (Garrard) and who your WRs and RBs are.

[/ QUOTE ]

My QB's were Cutler and Garrard. My WRs were Moss, S. Smith, Welker, Branch, Roscoe Parrish, and I have Witten at TE. My RBs are Portis, Peterson (Min), Wynn, and Davenport. I had Stallworth too but he was traded separately.

I figured that Smith was likely at a high point right now given Delhomme's surgery. Maroney's play so far plus his injury plus Morris looking good made me not like his value a whole lot. Garrard and Cutler both seem like solid backups, but picking up Manning would add a lot to my offense. As is after the trade, I have a pretty sick starting lineup for a 14 team league. (P.Manning, Moss, Welker, Portis, Peterson (MIN) and Witten)

Edit: It is also worth mentioning for the observant FF player that I picked up Warner from FA for week 6 (and maybe future tradebait), as both Cutler and Manning are on bye.

Here's kinda a random question: what do you guys think of trading Adrian Peterson (Min) for Willie Parker? Parker is on a better team and has what at first glance appears to be a much easier run of defenses for the rest of the year.

[/ QUOTE ]Who would trade Parker? I'd do this in a heartbeat. Especially if you can get one more week of Peterson due to Steeler bye week.

[censored] byes and injuries.

12 man league, I'm starting

M Schaub

L Johnson
L Tomlinson

B Engram
B Jones
D Henderson

A Gates

DAL D

I can't [censored] pick up another defense because I don't have the roster spot for it, unless I want to drop S. Young, C. Cooley or L. Evans.

Basically, my team is realyl bad right now and I'm 2-3. I have M. Harrison and A. Johnson coming back soon (and Kitna back from a bye), so there's hope yet, but it's fading.

God wtf, my team is just injury prone and so many byes this week.

Who should I drop to pick up another WR?

This week is absolutely terrible.
1QB/2RB/3WR/TE/K/Def
QB: McNabb / Favre
RB: Barber III/Maroney (Bye (Lynch, Gore)
WR: James Jones/Porter/Boldin (hurt wtf) (Bye Wayne, Santonio Holmes)
K: Gostkowski
D: TB (Pitt on Bye)

I really don't want to waive anyone on bye. God this has become so f'in annoying.

What DEF are out there? You can't drop Dallas and play matchups for a while?
