So far, 60% of these entries are far beyond "kinda famous." PETER JENNINGS?? -- otnemem, peter jennings-- are you saying he's too famous for this thread (that's possible), or are you surprised that someone would miss him? i actually do miss peter jennings. he was awesome. |

Singer for I think this nails the criteria, he was kinda famous, did ozzfest 98, had a good number of fans, but wouldn't be known by most. Died, along with his dog, in a car accident, before the second album was finished. |

John Candy, Peter Jennings, and Steve Irwin are all way too famous for this thread. If you, your Mother, and your HS math teacher have all heard of the guy, he's too famous for this thread.
Not sure about Easy E and HST, though. Rock-star famous within their arenas, but not so well known outside it. |
