Re: WSOP NLHE field trends
I think its going down a lot. My theory is some of the folks who won WSOP packages in cash are playing some of the earlier, less costly events, others simply aren't going at all.

if it goes significantly (> 10%) under last year I will be really, really surprised. [/ QUOTE ] I think live poker's as popular as ever but it's too tempting for someone who won a package online to just pay some bills instead and maybe come out to play a smaller event or satellite. LAPC main event was up 791 vs 692 in '06 without any online entrants, but still I'd be surprised if the total WSOP ME entrants exceeded 6,000. Then again, I had Federer to win the French and Woods to break par at Oakmont. Whiffed the former, nervous about the latter. |

Re: WSOP NLHE field trends
Anyone have handy what the field sizes were for the $3k NL events last year?

Re: WSOP NLHE field trends
I would be interested in seeing the total amount spent in entry fees compared to last year, although I am to lazy to do the calculation myself.
