Re: Driving to Ocean City, help me avoid traffic hotspots
Rt. 15 -> 287 -> Palisades -> NJ Turnpike
95 is a crapshoot and the garden state has too many tolls. Also, while down in Ocean City, MD, you should take advantage of the following: - Bootsie's BBQ (Bethany Beach, DE) - it is a little north of OC but it is fantastic. It is literally a shack that makes phenomenal bbq. - Dogfish Brewery - Milton, DE (just north of Rehobeth) - tours in the afternoon. - Dumpser's (OC) - classic ice cream/burger joint. - Fisher's Popcorn - best caramel popcorn on the planet - best eaten hot. There a few of them and I think on is one the boardwalk. |

Dcasper: I live here so if you need any other help PM me.
The directions don't have you getting on rt 1 after 95 south into delaware? You should be getting on rt 1 instead of 13 (13 is speed limit 50 with tons of red lights as opposed to 65 mph highway on rt 1). |

Re: Driving to Ocean City, help me avoid traffic hotspots
dp,
My bad. It does go 95 -> Rt 1. The map image shows frequent overlapping between the two until around Dover. I didn't look closely enough... I do have some other questions posted in the golf forum... |

Re: Driving to Ocean City, help me avoid traffic hotspots
I think OCNJ has minimal gottis compared to the rest of the NJ beaches. Being a dry town really is a turn off for them.
