Bet 4/ fold. I also advocate betting more on the flop. I'm iffy on the turn, but I think I bet there too, depending on villain read.

reads? stats on villain? is he capable of calling here with a J or a small diamond? If so, bet. Will he attempt a bluff or bet a weaker diamond if checked to on river? Noone here can really provide you with much help unless you give us some info on him.

Villain dependent.

ck/fold to nit

ck/call to aggressive maniac or 2+2 tag provided its psb or less. If its over psb, I can find better places against a lagtard. If the 2+2 tag bets > psb, I am not getting good enought pot odds since I dont see it being a bluff that often.

bet/fold to passive calling station. Most of the time they just call, if its a mini raise I still call and puke, but bigger raise they are not bluffing either.

I bet river for $4 and he raised me to $11. I figured only one card in the deck beats me so I called.

He had the Ace of diamonds and won. Sounds like I should not have called off the large raise on the end. He had also made nut flush on turn and was trapping.

You aren't getting raised on that river with anything but Ad essentially. Unless i have a read that he's a complete moron its a fold.
