Default AA SB facing CO newbie raise - smooth call

How do you guys feel about this play:

Blinds 80/160

CO (7,125)
Button (6,925)
Hero (6,850)
BB (7,250)

Folds to CO who raises to 560, Hero calls with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], BB folds:

Flop: J 8 10r

Hero checks, CO bets 800, Hero all-in.

I think I can get any jack to call, JQ, JK, JA; I think I can get 99 to come for the ride. I was thinking of leading here, but I really didn't see the point on this board. I don't think she RRs me if I lead and it will be too obvious I have something if I bet. I dunno - I played this goofy, yes?

I like it. I'll often play AA this way in the same situation. I'm not sure what reads might be implied by "newbie," but assume this means raising with suited connectors/1-gappers/total trash is unlikely. The pot is big enough with your call that you aren't going away. Get it in now while you're almost surely ahead.

You don't have to CRAI here, but definitely make more than a pot sized bet with that type of board.

I'm not entirely sure I'd jam. I like the check/raise. How is a raise to 2k jamming turn looking here?

it looks stronger than just jamming in the first place but I don't know the buyin so I don't know if the villain is putting us on a hand.

Your stacks are good enough to raise to 1600 or something.

I definitely prefer a 3bet rather than calling so deep and overbet shoving a dangerous flop.

I don't think its really close.

I think re raising pf with these stacks is better. Something like t1,300 ~ t1,500.

As played flop looks OK, good if he's calling with Jx or 99. And jamming is better than making it t2,000.
