don't take your dog to the vet.

[/ QUOTE ] Check it's pads, see if something is jammed in there. Maybe dip its feet in water to wash them out. Road salt can cause an allergy. Give it a week unless it gets worse. Vets are a huge rip-off.

As for your t.p. useage: be glad you're not a girl.

You can give her aspirin temporarily.. i forget the dosage you can look it up online.. make sure it's aspirin though and not tylenol or ibuprofin that stuff can kill them.

BABY aspirin, she's only 9 lbs. I wouldn't do that unless you talk to a vet first.

1. Take her to the vet if it's been more than a few days. Dogs can tear their version of the ACL just like humans. For small dogs it's about a $500-700 surgery. My larger dog just did this and the surgery was $1700.

2. Don't worry about it. TP is not the place to cut corners or reduce costs.

All kidding aside. The dog could be alergic to something too. Check the in between the pads for severe redness. The vet can prescribe a steroid to clear up...

Then go with the chocolate....
