Default NL25...good play or spew?

BB is a nit. Raises 3% of his hands.
I'm new at the table.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $24.65
Hero (SB): $24.75
BB: $29.25
UTG: $44.90
MP: $35.20
CO: $5

CO posts $0.25
Pre-Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
2 folds, CO checks, BTN folds, Hero calls $0.15, <font color="red">BB raises to $1</font>, CO folds, Hero calls $0.75

I always complete hand like this. After nit raises I call for implied odds even though I'm OOP. However paying o.75 into 1.5 pot with full stacks behind us is no brainer imo.

Flop: ($2.25) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">BB bets $2.25</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $6</font>, BB calls $3.75

This is the flop that hits me pretty nice. I go for a check raise cause i want a cbet from overcards. If he pushed i'd snappcall here (I know i'd be behind but with the money invested its a call).

Turn: ($14.25) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $8</font>

Here is the dillema. Do i continue to represent a hand that beats one pair hand or do I give up? Can he fold an overpair? Why 8$? It feels more like extraction with a monster than poting which could mean fear.

This hand actually consist of 2 Q. Is callin pf ok (i had a discussion about it with a fellow poker player and he insisted its a losing play)?

Do I give up on turn or go with it.

p.s.: Ofc if villain calls turn bet and i dont improve on river i cf.
