Anything that doesn't involve folding.

I decide I will call down a turn c/r UI. [/ QUOTE ] Certainly this is your only realistic option here. Folding to a C/R with that flush draw on the board, + having what is likely the best hand against an unknown, would simply be a disaster. Call a C/R, And hope for a club on the river! Either way you're seeing a showdown... |

How much more expectation do you guys estimate betting hsa over checking? [/ QUOTE ] Enough to make it the best option. You gotta bet here and call down a c/r. A lot of times when he c/r's he'll be doing so with no pair in his hand and a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], but in reality drawing dead. We gotta encourage this. The times he doesn't semi-bluff the turn he probably will call with a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] anyways as it's HU. And if we do check we can't be guaranteed a bet on the river as we know nothing about this opponent. -Caddy |

Re: AQ
I'm not sure if it's right but I would typically check here.
Turn bluff checkraises aren't bluffs very often at 2/4. |

Re: AQ
I don't play a lot of 2/4 anymore, so you could be correct with less semi-bluffs happening at that level. But wouldn't you think we get at least a call (with a draw) or semi-bluff substantially more often from Villain than the times he does holds a King? I'm talking probability wise here...And even those times he does c/r us with a King, it's not the worst thing in the world as we have 12 strong outs.

I think this is an easy bet, he has tons of non-K hands that will call a bet here. much more than 2x, and it doesn't even need to be 2x because we have a lot of outs against Kx and he is probably drawing to 2 outs or less when he calls. |
