30 Rock is surprisingly good. Alec Baldwin is perfect for his role, and they dish out a lot of good jokes.
Scrubs isn't for everyone, but if you don't mind shows that tenuously tread the cutesy line, it's a good pick. The Scrubs musical from this season was gold.

Other major characters are played by Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski. The basic premise is the running of a comedy show (much like SNL or MAD) and the assorted problems that comes with it along with individual character quirks. Alec Baldwin excels in his role according to many fans and critics. The humor in the show is not random humor ala family guy style. I would say its similar in structure to Curb Your Enthusiasm. Scrubs- Is a light hearted comedy/drama about different doctors (surgeon, general, nurse etc.) working in a public hospital. The jokes tend to be more random and for the most part if you miss an episode it wont cause you any confusion. I would say that in terms of seriousness ER>House>Scrubs. Basically, Scrubs is on the opposite spectrum of ER. They are not able to cure all patients and many have died, unlike in House. Overall, I would say that people that enjoy shows like Family Guy and Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia will enjoy Scrubs as well.
