Default Silly Laptop video card question

Hi,

My cheap lil notebook has a mobile intel 965 express chipset.

I've looked up "upgrading" a video card on a laptop and I guess it's pretty unpossible with most laptops.

The intel site talks about it having a pci express thing or w/e I really don't understand it.

If somebody could just explain to me whether this thing is upgradeable or not that'd be great. I'm fairly confident it is not, just wondering.

Thanks

Default Re: Silly Laptop video card question

unless you have somethign weird (and there's no reason to suspect that) you can't upgrade the video card in the laptop.

the only possibility is that you might be able to track down some niche vendor that might sell video cards for pcmcia or expresscard slots (depending on what your device has)
