multi-draw facing bet + raise
$2-$2 PLO, 9-handed
B2 ($140), straightforward UTG+1 ($200), new Hero ($200), running bad PRE-FLOP UTG folds, UTG+1 limps, MP1 and MP2 fold, I limp with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], CO and button fold, blinds check. Four to the flop. FLOP ($8) [5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] B1 checks, B2 bets $4, hero gets ready to raise, but UTG+1 raises pot first. |

Re: multi-draw facing bet + raise
I fold preflop. The ace is a dangler & it's not suited.
I fold the flop. Your 10-high flush draw is not worth putting a lot of money in the pot. Someone has a straight, so you've got 5 outs to the nuts. It's possible that you are in great shape in this hand - against two straights with no redraws - but you might also be in really bad shape, so I tend to fold situations like this. |

and I really need table and player reads, if possible, as well as stack sizes to competently address a hand.

Re: multi-draw facing bet + raise
I would fold. Like you I would have raised if UTG+1 didn't get there first.

Re: multi-draw facing bet + raise
Hero ranges from moderately +EV vs. a bare straight to moderately -EV vs. a straight w/redraw(s). So to me the key is whether foe is loose pre-flop (which would increase the likelihood of a poorly-coordinated holding that flopped only a bare straight) or tight pre-flop (since many well-coordinated hands that flop a straight here also have redraws). With foe being an unknown, and also figuring in the times B2 doesn't fold the nut flush draw facing a re-raise, this looks like a fold.
Can those who chose calling as their first or second option explain why? With B2 to consider, calling really looks like the worst option to me. |

Re: multi-draw facing bet + raise
I chose calling as my second option because if you raise and get called by a better hand/draw, you lose more money than if you just call and fold some turns.
