Poker Stars 1-2 vs. 2-4
Which is more profitable? My PT numbers show nearly identical VPIP and PFR percentages at ~22.5 and 8.5 respectively. I just can't see how 2-4 would be twice as difficult making that game more profitable.
Thoughts? BO |

Re: Poker Stars 1-2 vs. 2-4
Ive only played about 1k hands at 1/2 and it was a cakewalk. I started playing 2/4 again this month after last month attempting to learn no limit and winning about $200 in the process for 30k hands. I am running at 5.5bb/100 and have won ~$800 so far this month in 4k hands lol. But there is a fairly noticable difference in play between the levels...
You will find many more TAGs at 2/4 and less fish, so table selection and seat selection over anything becomes more key... I used to play 2/4 at party in the good ole days and beat it for 60k hands at 2.9bb/100 ohh the good ole days... |

Re: Poker Stars 1-2 vs. 2-4
I agree with MitchL. I have been playing alot of small stakes on Stars lately and there doesnt seem to be much of a difference between 1/2 and 2/4 but a larger difference between the skill between 2/4 and 3/6.
