I just realised I'm forgetting the importance of potsize. Another leak to plug, I guess...

It's good if he typically bets in there pots in there spots when checked to (many players do). I mix up c/r and betting out. I like the turn card, makes it harder for him to call without a pair now. River will be tough UI though. c/f turn or bet as a final attempt (assuming he can fold) if the turn card doesn't help you.

Fold when the LP-P player bets the flop. Better yet, bet the flop.

Re: 1/2 lowest pair + BD flushdraw, HU against EP limper
It was either a bet or a check/raise on the flop. Folding to a single bet is not an option. He might be LP, but he's also the kind of player that bets all streets (maybe except river)with any two cards when checked to.
I had a good table image, and I knew he would have more respect for a C/R then a bet. The A is an excellent scarecard, so the turn action was a no brainer. I guess I was just getting tired of being called with any two on the flop, and then being uncertain whether to bet the turn. If I had bet the flop, and the turn wasn't a club, I would have check/folded the turn. The irritating part is knowing he bets the turn with any two cards, and I might be folding a better hand... Maybe a "bet flop, bet any turn" is a better line against these guys? Anyways, it worked, he folded the turn. As Kwaz said, I'm not sure it's worth it, though... |

[/ QUOTE ] If that's the case then you should be check-calling the flop/turn anytime you flop a mediocre hand that is showdown-able. It's hard for me to believe someone who has an AF of .6 would be this kind of player because I haven't really run across someone like that. |

Bet Flop, or fold to his flop bet
