JJ out of position 3 bet preflop
Effective stacks are 400ish
6 handed 2/4: probably viewed as a LAG by villain who is also a LAG. I am UTG and have J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and raise to 15 everyone folds to CO who repops to 45 folds back to me and I call. Flop ($96): 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I lead out 80 bucks and get called. Turn ($256): Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] What size bet should I put in here or should I just c/c or even c/r? I ended up pushing because I didnt even have enough for a psb on the riv if I made a solid bet here. |

Re: JJ out of position 3 bet preflop
maybe I should elaborate on villain a bit It definatly wouldnt be unusual for him to float the flop in fact thats exactly what I thought he did. Having played with him a lot I'd say he reraises an Overpair about 80 percent of the time on the flop. I am 90 percent sure this wouldnt be a bluff but maybe I shouldve checked to induce a bluff.

Re: JJ out of position 3 bet preflop
What I would do is c/c flop, check the turn and probably call any bet. River is where a good read comes in. That's kind of a cop-out but it's all I can say. Some guys can fire 3 barrels here since your hand is fairly transparent, some can't.
