Easiest to hardest rooms
Different rooms and games are discussed a lot here, but I was curious how everyone would rank different Vegas rooms based on their experience. Preferably locals who frequent these rooms more than a couple times per year. I will submit my ranks, but am curious how that compares to everyone elses thoughts. Currently, these are for only NL games - 1/2 - 5/10.
On average, from easiest to beat from hardest to beat: 1/2 NL (with at least $200 min): Bally's Treasure Island Harrah's Mirage MGM Ceasers Venetian Wynn 2/5: Palms (never played yet, but I hear its juicy) Mandalay Bay MGM Mirage Venetian Bellagio Wynn 5/10 Ceasers Bellagio Wynn Venetian Does everyone agree? Other rooms I missed? By the way, I agree with the post about the Wynn. I am always drawn to the casino because it is so beautiful, but the room is full of tight local nits. No action at all in my experience!! |

Re: Easiest to hardest rooms
I don't think the 5/10 game at Wynn is nitty at all. Sure there are few nits that play, but the game can get very wild at times. Especially when some deep players sit down.

Re: Easiest to hardest rooms
I'd move Bellagio way up the list. I think Bellagio has one of the easiest 2/5 games in Vegas. I used to be a huge advocate of the Wynn, but during the day the games there are fairly tough for 2/5. I think the Bellagio is always easy. IMO Bellagio is much easier than MGM or Venitian. From my experience easiest to hardest 2/5 is...
Rio during the WSOP Palms Bellagio MGM Venitian Wynn |

The times I've won money there against them I was either lucky enough to get very good cards and/or stayed out of their way. |

5/10 Ceasers Bellagio Wynn Venetian [/ QUOTE ] The same players are in all these games. The Bellagio is usually super soft though unless the 10/20 is just awful and those guys move down to 5/10 to bitch about the cap and play with the tourists. I've only played the V 5/10 twice but it was great both times. I've given up on Caesar's for 5/10 as it's never been running or had an interest list with more than 1 name on it when I've gone by. |
