Default ($3.40) 99 overpair on flop against minbet

Reads: I think his stats were 40/10. I guessed his minbet was a blocking bet and he was drawing. Was I too aggressive?

I like pushing the turn, there are a lot of draws out there, and i dont think that the 5 would have helped him

I don't like the raise on the flop. I call the flop because it's cheap, and see what he does on the turn. W/ the turn pairing the board, I like my hand a lot less.

Yeah, this is what I thought I should have done looking back on it.

Surely it is bad to let him have his odds to draw?

Given his stats this is a clear raise Pre Flop as you could drive a bus through his opening range and stops the blinds from getting a cheap flop.

That was the worst flop you could get. Raising against this villian is spew especially after they lead the flop. Even calling behind is meh as most cards will put you in a tougher spot on the turn and that includes a 9.

That river really really sucks. You aren't beating a thing. You have to fold.

I would have just shoved the turn.

Push flop. This pot is big enough to pick up now, and pushing allows you to protect your hand.
