After the season, the NHL really needs to rethink the way these games are being called. I understand wanting to eliminate the clutching and hooking, but its just ridiculous to say we're going to call it a penalty everytime a players stick is parallel to the ice and happens to make contact with an opposing player . They need to let the refs use their own discression on whether a player is being impeded or whether its just incidental to the play. The officiating in the Wings/Ducks game was horrible too.

[/ QUOTE ] You guys have no call to complain about the officiating after those two cheezy penalties - late in the third and then in overtime. Then again, Buffalo should prolly just start declining them since Ottawa's the only one who gets any chances when Buffalo has the man advantage.
