why did you check the flop? were you going for a check-raise? As played I call down. CO could have A10+ which obv. missed or pp. This hand looks like a 55 type

I checked the flop because BB capped. It's him that I'm worried about, not the CO.

Edit: as it turns out i am worried about the CO, not the BB

if you bet, bb raises, and co 3bets the flop then it's a more convincing fold.

I would happily bet into the aggressive BB on the assumption that he raises his pairs, and overcards, along with his premiums. If he raises, it most likely sets the rest of the hand for HU play, which is what I'd want with this hand.

right, so BB is unknown.

I'm thinking about a c/r on the flop here but we don't want to get stuck in the middle of a raising war so I'm looking to c/c here & hopefully get to SD cheap.

I wouldn't fold the turn, if CO is a loony he may not have anything here. The toughest part of this hand is if we can VB the river or not (had we called the turn).

Edit: oh, on the turn it's possible we have up to 6 outs here & we may still be ahead.

This is the most important point in the posts so far. Easy turn call considering this.

Flop is tougher though, I'm not sure about the best line there.

I wont ever fold this turn a 8 or a T comming on the river and you will be paid off. And there is also a chance you are ahead already.
