Wow, that's the latest that I've heard. I started all the way back on August 27, and I know a lot of other colleges started either on that day or the day after Labor Day.

Well, isn't it typical for practices to start a couple of weeks before the first game (and therefore a couple of weeks before class)? That doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

OSU must still be on quarters and not semesters. UGA was on quarters when I was in school and it SUCKS cause you miss half of friggin football season.
