post here when announcers (or the media) say or do something stupid
i love reading stuff about stupid announcers and/or writers. i probably miss a lot of stuff though, as do others. i figure if we post them here we can better circulate the stupidity and maybe even start some serious movements to get these buffoons top be held accountable for the idiocy they spew.

The grander scheme of things would be a 5-game series in which the team loses 0-12, 4-3, 3-2, 1-7, 4-3.

Talking about the Pats blowing out the Redskins Emmitt Smith just said "blah blah blah, if you can't cover them you get BLOWED OUT! You get BLOWED OUT!..."
Maybe he said "Blown" but he has a cold.

Great one by the Grizzlies local team on NBA League Pass.
The Pacers are shooting 58% through 3 quarters and the announcers have kept talking about how they won't be able to keep it up, but they have. Right at the end of the 3rd quarter one of them says "Now I still think it'll be down around 52%, maybe 53% at the most by the end of the game."

Today, for some God-forsaken reason, Jason Blaclock (see what I did was switched Blac for Whit, because Whit is sort of like White, but Whitlock is some sort of Sports Blacktivist or something. Anyway.)
Jason Blaclock was talking about how big of a game the Mizzou/Kansas game was going to be and he was saying that the two states hate eachother and it "goes back 200 years...one was a slave state, one wasn't." What. The. Hell. Dude.
