Default Quick IP question

Is there any security threat posting screenshots of running CMD, ipconfig, release/renew?

With that information can anyone mess with my computer somehow?

Thanks

Edit: I received this message shortly after I did when trying to connect to some website:
Error message: "530 User <Username> cannot log in. Login failed."

Dunno if that's an indicator somehow.

Are you behind a router?
If you renewed your IP address and tried to reload a page on a site you have previously logged into they could have matched your username to your old IP address. Try from the front door and see if it works.

first of all thanks for your help

i'm not behind a router i don't think unless the university system is somehow. i connect direct from the wall line to my computer.

it was not a site to log onto, oddly it was just some myspace page (i don't log on to myspace)

what of that information? harmless for anyone to know?

The only information you would be giving up is your IP address, which would be difficult to exploit, especially if you are behind a university firewall.

There are much bigger things to worry about, just make sure your windows is up to date, and have a software firewall running.
