Mad Men on AMC

I've been away from here for much of the past few weeks, so not sure if this has been discussed. (My lame search attempts came up with nothing.)

Has anyone here checked out "Mad Men," the new show on AMC? I saw the first episode and thought it was extremely promising. It's really the first show in a while I've been looking forward to seeing.

It was hyped so much it got hard for me not to hate it before it even came out. I only caught a few minutes of it, but they weren't bad. Did seem a little arch to me. The guy who seemed like the lead seemed a little wooden.

I watched the first ep and I really enjoyed it.

Hopefully the future eps are just as good.

The only thing I kinda hate is that this show is on AMC, which means it will be censored.

I didn't even realize this show had received much hype. I barely heard of it beforehand.

Anyway, for those who have not seen it or heard of it, allow me to recommend it. My first impression is that the writing, directing and acting are all first-rate.

I read this, and automatically my mind put the brackets around it and filled in an appropriate curse word. Then I realized what you actually meant. I think I should be ashamed.

I thought the first ep was awesome! I work in advertising though so I dno, that prolly will allow me to like it no matter what, lol.

I was actually pretty surprised at the lack of censoring in the first episode. That scene in whatever club the guys went to for the bachelor party where the woman took off her shirt and just had the little things covering her boobs cuaght me off guard.

I liked the show a lot.
