Re: who wins the NL MVP?
1. Wright
2. Pujols 3. Utley 4. Chipper 5. Holliday It's too bad Wright doesn't have a chance because the voters are retards, but he does deserve it. But yeah, between Rollins and Holliday it's obv Holliday. |

[ QUOTE ]
Matt Holliday: Home OPS: 1.157 Away OPS: .860 [/ QUOTE ] VORP is adjusted for park, but looking at Holliday's splits it almost seems like they [censored] it up somewhere. On the road he was like barely above average offensively for a corner outfielder. |

Re: who wins the NL MVP?
Is Rollins>Holliday a better or worse decision than Howard>Pujols?
How about vs. Morneu>anyone else not named Morneu? |

Re: who wins the NL MVP?
You can't totally dismiss Matt Holliday's stats because he performed much better at home. How many other players had a 1.157 OPS @ Colorado this year? You can't just assume he is an .860 OPS hitter and anything higher than that is because of the ballpark.

It's not like Holliday was some crazy outlier. |

You can't zero out Colorado stats because they are at Colorado. Sure, his numbers at home are inflated compared to his road numbers, but I really don't think there is a 34.5% park factor at play here. |

Also, if we believe the steroid era is over and Howard and Pujols are clean, then 58 hrs was and is pretty impressive. |
