It's only $5, so why not? (FYI, I am a trumpet player, if that matters.) Depends on what you plan to do with it, though. If it's just for screwing around, maybe mash it up, maybe make a lamp or something out of it, cool. If you plan to actually play it, though, I'd want to know more about where it came from, if it's been cleaned, etc. There might be a good reason it's only $5.

If nothing else, an old trumpet makes for a fairly cool room decoration, especially if you are into jazz.

How is this even a question? Of course I would buy a $5 trumpet. Also, unless these trumpets are giant pieces of [censored], the seller is a retard. Even used trumpets go for much much more than this.

i have a '67 mercury cougar i'm trying to get rid of. it's missing all four doors, also all the wheels, tires and windows.
i will throw in some putty, a rug, 10 souvenir spoons, wizard of war atari game, and hi ho! cherry-o (cherries not included).
