Default dynamic IP addresses..is that good?

I have a query on this. I have a dynamic IP connection and when I check the address, it is different everytime I turn on. I use a wireless laptop and router. My remote port no changes also.

Is this good for the obvious reasons??

thanks

I'm not sure what the "obvious reasons" are, but i assume you think it is good because you are anonymous because your ip is always changing. However, this is NOT the case. Your isp keeps track of what ip address was assigned to who, and when. This is all in your ISP's logs. So no, this isn't a form of anonymity and it won't protect you in any real way. (For example, you get nabbed by the riaa for downloading music, but aha! you think! they can't catch me! ive got a dynamic ip and am anonymous! False)

Dynamic IPs are better if you like to make enemies over the internet, as if you ever get DDoSed, reset your connection and you're good to go.

As above as anonymity goes it's possible for your ISP to track you should they ever need to.

This is highly annoying if you're trying to do any sort of DNS based stuff, like run a server from your home computer and assign a domain name to its IP.

And on the internal side; e.g. behind a router, it's highly annoying too if you try to do any sort of IP-based port forwarding or try to set up something like Synergy to share a mouse and keyboard between two computer. MAC address based DHCP for the win, IMO.

Casino bonuses? as in multiple accounts? No, i don't think this will help all that much with you getting multiple accounts lol, although i guess it couldn't hurt. Their is a lot of stuff they collect about you to be able to make a secondary account. Like credit card, MAC address, full name, physical address, etc.

i've already notified mod on this thread... discussion on how to defraud casinos isn't really something 2+2 has liked in the past.
