Re: NL 100 - standard fold???
Yeah this would be a standard fold against someone with a .8 aggression factor.

Re: NL 100 - standard fold???
Make your decision on the turn. If you think you're good on the turn then call the river. If you don't then fold the turn.

Re: NL 100 - standard fold???
With two limpers already in the pot, I win more and lose less when I limp a hand like this (unsuited broadway semi-connector) on the button than when I raise. Guys will limp/call KQs and AJ and in some cases even JJ - all of which put you in a lot of trouble if you hit top pair. And while your poor starting hand's weakness is compensated by your position on the button, making the pot bigger only makes sense if you strongly suspect to take down the pot on just about any flop by making a cb. But then you really don't even need unsuited broadways. In a game like that where you rely on raise+cb-w/fold-equity as your primary game plan, you'd do better to raise total junk that you can fold when played back at rather than dominated hands like this one that you call off lots of chips with as an underdog.
As played, when a guy with a 0.8 post flop aggression number limp/calls and then donk bets into you twice you are probably toast on the turn when he fires the second barrel. Fold the turn. As played, folding the river is better than calling, but you really have very little new information on the river that you didn't already have on the turn. So, if you beaten on this river, you were beaten and could have recognized it on the turn. |

Yeah this would be a standard fold against someone with a .8 aggression factor. [/ QUOTE ] .8 AF after 50 hands... villain has only put money in on 13 pots, with very very little post flop play... AF takes well over a thousand hands to come close to converging, this .8 is completely meaningless. |
