5nl standard fold?

RapidEvolution made a good point about checking behind on the turn for pot control. When there's a good chance you're WA/WB you want to see a showdown but see it as cheaply as possible. Because you have position you can do this by checking behind on the turn.

as to how i played i didnt' raise pf because i didnt think i could get rid of that many limpers. I noticed that at these stakes if theres already a few limpers and if someone raises and the first limper calls all the other limpers usally call as well i a wouldnt really feel to comfortable playing 88 in a souped up multiway pot with probably at least 1-2 over cards

the raise on the flop was to yea take a stab/price out draws etc

I agree i made a mistake on the turn with the raise because either way i was wa/wb but i guess i wanted to "define" my hand. If i was check raised i'd prob drop it but with the 3 heats out there if he doesnt have a flush he could think i hit that flush i would have played the same way with a fd on the flop. I think I may be making a mistake trying to "define" my hand in this moment, ie i might have the complete wrong concept going on here

on the river i ended up folding, throught that he called my turn raise with the flush to raise on the river- agree with you all though i needed to at least call
