yeah standard, bet turn to make him pay for a draw, but bet alittle more. Once on the river, his bet looks like a valuebet.
If he had checked, I would check behind.

What if the river was the 3 of diamonds instead? Does it change our hand strength at all?

It's very odd saying that you should've lost more money here, but you should've. Bet $8 on the Flop. Bet $22 on the Turn. Fold the River without reads.

Making us two pair? If villain has two pair on the flop or turn he's putting more money in on one of those streets. So no, 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] river doesn't change anything.

As for the hand, I might call. It's close enough to be trivial, though, in my books. EDIT: Didn't notice he's a passive fish. I fold.

And everyone's right about betting more, btw.
