Default No more checks from Doyles Room

I just requested a 100k withdrawl by check from doyles room, just to recieve an email saying that they no longer will send checks out for withdrawls. They want to send all 100k of my withdrawl to my epassporte acct, but if I dont get back to them today confirming that this is okay, they will transfer my entire balance to FullTilt poker. Anyone have any history in getting 6-digit amounts from epassporte into a US bank acct? What about Full Tilt? Which would you prefer getting money sent to in order for withdrawl?
If anyone else has money in Doyles, I high suggest requesting a withdrawl TODAY if you dont want it all to be moved to FUll Tilt. In the email sent to me, it seems very likely that all funds left in any doyles acct as of tommarow, when they close, will be sent to full tilt.

Full Tilt is sending checks out now so it shouldn't be a problem.

Default Why did the BS detector go off the scale on this one ?

$100,000 USD. You are upset because you would prefer a check ?

Hey, I tried to cash out $100,000 ...... no really, I did.

This sounds like someone who has never moved that amount of money before internationally and thought of a hypothetical complaint to post.

EVER heard of wiring money directly to your bank account ? You would prefer a check, sent by some insecure means, for which you would then wait how long for clearance back to the bank it originated from ?

It actually sounds like you dont know what youre talking about. Have fun trying to get a wire transfer from Doyles room, they only offer checks or epassporte as current withdrawl methods for Americans.

No it sounds like the kind of person the deposited $500,000 and now is down to 100,000 and wants that out before visiting Bustoville.

Epass offers wire transfers but I'm not sure of the details. It's probably mentioned in the dedicated epass thread.

Default Stop whining and go get your money

Okay, I'll assume you are telling the truth.... you really are owed $100,000 by someone who will not pay ??

So you are a chump, easy mark or whatever. GO GET THE F*king MONEY. If they have it, they will pay you. If they pull some BS about no checks, then get it in cash from them and open up a bank acount in Curacao or wherever they are, if you are scared to carry the cash.

You are owed $100,000 by someone who has $100,000. Instead of getting on a plane and going to get your money, you are whining here.

I actually feel safe having money on doyles room because I know where to find Doyle Brunson if sh*t hits the fan. That's not to say i'd try to get physical, just that I think he'd help out since he has in the past. Then if he didn't you could just beat him with his own walker.

I have respect for Doyle and his partners, whoever they might be, that was not my point. Rather, the OP is likely a poseur and made his complaint on a false premise to get attention. Alternatively, he doesn't know that $100,000 is worth collecting personally.
