ok- very close to being back to fully rolled- Im tired of grinding so I am redepositing and getting a coach.

I am thinking of aislephive, goofyballer, or somebody from 3-bet.net. I really have no idea how to choose a coach, so I would appreciate anybody that has had experiences with any of these (or others) to either respond here or PM me if you would like to keep it private. Goofy plays like 18/16 and AP plays 27/22ish I am pretty sure. I play right in between that at this point in time (20/17), so I could go either way I think.

Also, if anybody else coaches and would like another student, just PM me with your stats/rates (a graph would be appreciated as well...sorry, cant trust people online- that is not meant to offend anybody).

I'd like to win $1 this month.

I haven't had a winning month in Stars cash games in 13 months.

Thats right I've lost 13 straight months at stars $1/2.

I'll probably lose this month as I'm already down 4 buyins.

It gets sicker and sicker.

For those that have played with me do you think I'm that bad to lose consistently for 13 straight months at the NL 200 game?

[/ QUOTE ]I dont play stars, but just by your posts I think tilt is probably a big problem for you. Also, do you have a coach?

Is this serious? If so...

Move down. Nittier is better at NL50 and NL100.

Maybe move to FT. Change of scenery might be a good thing.

Play more MTT's (I seem to remember you having some nice scores this year). For example, if you normally 8-table, have 6 cash, 2 MTT's. And maybe consider playing less tables on a whole.

I don't tilt away money and no I don't have a coach...their rates are ridiculous and looking back over my hands all the huge pots I lose are like 2nd nuts vs nuts or I get 2 and 3 outered so I'm not paying $500/hour for someone that runs well to tell me to "run better".

Now that might come off as ridiculous to some people but I've had posters in the forum look over a lot of my hands and they tell me stuff like "standard, move on, cooler",etc.

I don't think paying someone $800/hour is going to turn me around when most of the hands I lose are because I get [censored].

What a coach could help me do is to get better at playing back against aggro regs but I can't afford a coach.

Wow, I had thought you were atleast mildly in the green at 1/2. For the most part you seemed to be decent to me, although I was never really able to pinpoint how you play. Sometimes I'd think you were quite LAG and others the biggest nit ever, is this a concious switchup in play or is this tilt? Some days you seemed to want to 3bet me a ton, others you let me run over you at times.

I don't know about the tilt thing. But there is def something mentally wrong here. You are not the unluckiest player ever. You have been losing for 13 months, every month. Selah.
