Default OOP with 99, BB

First of all, MP3 had been limping alot so I was sure he prolly had a weak hand and Villain just limped from the button. Is this a standard raise? I think just checkings a lil weak here as you give em a free shot at overs. Am i wrong on this? Once that happens and i get raised on this flop, what are my options? MY thought was pushing was the correct play, he could have several pocket pairs, but not one above my tens as he didnt raise preflop. As well as a flush draw
