Re: Friday Night Caesar\'s AC TR ( added knife fight bonus )
[ QUOTE ]
So if there were security folks watching closely from a distance for 3 minutes while the floor worked on calming folks down, that's ok long as it appeared the floor was succeeding. [/ QUOTE ] I’d question security “watching from a distance for 3 minutes” if the patron was actually brandishing a knife. Kind of -EV for the floor if he doesn't "succeed." |

Re: Friday Night Caesar\'s AC TR ( added knife fight bonus )
Given how he wrote it:
[ QUOTE ] Floor comes over and keeps them at bay as best as possible. Caesars security takes about 3-5 minutes and escorts both of them out of the poker room. [/ QUOTE ] I took it that OP meant that security took 3-5 minutes to sort the situation out, not that it took them 3-5 minutes to get there. The first sentence suggests they were pretty much on it right away. Maybe OP can clarify? |

Not to mention 30 seconds seems like 10 minutes in situations like these

Re: Friday Night Caesar\'s AC TR ( added knife fight bonus )
Floor was there within 10 seconds of the fight breaking out. Another Floor guy made a quick call on the phone asking for security ASAP. Security took about 2-3 minutes to show from the moment the fight broke out I would say. I think most of the security in the casino is more over by the pit games near the Boardwalk. The poker room is a good 1-2 minute walk from their. It was about 4 or 5 security guys and they escorted both of them away within about 2-3 minutes of their arrival.
I don't know Seat 4's name. ( the Borgata dealer without the knife, but who threw the chip at seat 7 ) I don't know if it would be ethical to identify him more clearly on the off-chance someone from Borgata reads these boards. His conduct while stupid ( throwing chip at someone ) I don't think is worthy of being fired over while off-duty at another casino. |
